Jessica McCracken has two great loves: helping people discover how deeply they are loved by Jesus and part of His story & getting lost in a really good book (she’s currently trying to convince her husband that buying books and reading books are two separate hobbies). She is an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church with years of experience walking with kids, families, women, and young adults through hard realities like domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and issues of poverty.

In the church world, she’s worked in small churches, mega-churches, and parachurch settings, wearing many hats along the way—children’s pastor, youth pastor, women’s and young adult ministry leader, campus pastor—and now lead pastor of Compassion Church. She’s been married to her best friend Scott for 17 years, is raising an amazing teenager, and fills her spare time with kitchen experiments, nerdy board games, learning about K-pop (thanks to her daughter), and bike rides that remind her sometimes you just need to move to quiet the noise in your head.
