We know everyone comes with their own story—and that includes us. Our church family is made up of people from different backgrounds and traditions, learning to follow Jesus side by side. We hold to the essentials of the Christian faith, but there’s space here for questions, growth, and real life. Our history with the Wesleyan Church has shaped us, and as an affiliate we’re grateful for those roots while leaving room for God to keep writing new chapters through us.

We believe the Bible is uniquely inspired by God, a partnership between the Holy Spirit and humans, and is trustworthy, showing us who God is, pointing us to Jesus, and is a guide to help is live out that story today.

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power, glory, and love. Jesus became human to reveal God to us and rescue, redeem, and restore humanity through His life, death, and resurrection. The Spirit helps us know God, become like Christ, and join His work in the world.

We believe every person is created in God’s image and declared good. We are a good creation.  Humans' failure to partner with God in his care of the world and one another (we call that sin) has led to broken relationships: with God, with one another, and with ourselves. Still, God’s image remains in us and our value does not decrease though sin takes its toll.

Because humans have failed to partner with God, we need help to fix what went wrong and put the world back right. And it’s not something we can do on our own. We believe that’s why Christ came—why He was crucified and rose from the dead three days later. What happened on the cross is something Christians don’t fully understand or even all agree on, but we do believe this: the mystery of Love conquering evil on the cross has set us free from its chokehold. We call this salvation, and we believe it is an experience, a process, and a future hope.

We believe the church is the body of Christ, a community of disciples following Jesus together. The church is a glimpse of God’s Kingdom on earth, pointing to the hope of His Kingdom still to come.

The world isn’t an accident or disposable—it was created by a good God who called it good. Yes, it’s broken by sin, and we see the damage all around us: pain, injustice, decay, and death. But the story doesn’t end there. God has never stopped caring for creation, and His plan is not to scrap it but to restore it. One day He will make all things new. Until then, we do what we can to join Him—caring for the world, seeking justice, and working for healing and flourishing right where we are.

We believe baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality—declaring our faith in Christ. We practice immersion but honor sprinkling or pouring as meaningful expressions as well.

We believe communion is a remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice, a proclamation of His redemption, and a sign of hope in His return. We practice freedom in how to take communion (common cup, intinction, individual servings) and how often communion is taken.  Those who have chosen to follow Jesus as Lord are free to administer it to others.  Any who seek Christ are welcome to share in this meal.

Despite what you may have heard, no one knows when Jesus will return—or exactly what the future or heaven will look like. What we do know is this: God’s plan isn’t to abandon or destroy the world, but to make it new in ways we can’t even imagine. That’s our hope. So we hold on to what we’re sure of—Jesus will come again, God’s Kingdom will come in full, everything broken will be made new, and His Kingdom will never end. And the invitation is for everyone.
