STORY
Christ

We believe every life is part of a bigger story—a story that begins with God’s love and finds its hope in Christ. Jesus stepped into our world to show us what God is like and to invite us into a new way of living. In Jesus, we see a story of grace that frees us to become who we were made to be. We keep coming back to that story—listening to it, learning from it, and letting it shape the way we live.

If you want to know who God is, look at Jesus. If you want to know what it means to be human, look at Jesus. If you want to know what love is, look at Jesus. If you want to know what grief is, look at Jesus. And go on looking until you’re not just a spectator, but you’re actually part of the drama which has him as the central character.

SPACE
Community

We intentionally create space where people can be honest, be themselves, and not feel pressure to have it all figured out. In that space, we ask questions, share life, serve others, and discover grace. We also work hard to protect that space—by valuing differences, listening well, and supporting one another as we navigate life.

Hospitality means primarily the creation of free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy. Hospitality is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place.

Shalom
Compassion

We believe God’s Kingdom isn’t just somewhere far away or someday in the future—it’s breaking in here and now. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to join in. That means noticing where God’s Spirit is already at work, stepping in with love, and creating places of blessing right in our own neighborhoods. We practice this by serving, partnering, and showing up in ways that help people and communities flourish.

“Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like to live inside somebody else's skin. It's the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. ”
